Nurse Navigators

Nurse Navigators

Your navigator is your guiding hand through this challenging time in your life. Doctors treat your body. Your navigator treats your uncertainty. They listen and educate. They are a resource for understanding treatment options. They schedule appointments and connect you to counseling support services. Our navigators are specifically certified for breast navigation. They provide a single point of contact and personalized support while coordinating communications between you, your care team and your primary care physician—all the way from diagnosis to survivorship. As a partner and advocate, the nurse navigator gives special attention to the various needs of patients and their families.

From the first meeting with your navigator, you will be in the hands of experts with a diverse range of specialties and experience. While each expert specializes in a particular field, such as radiation or pathology, the team works together specifically on your case. They not only bring clinical expertise but a crucial understanding of their patient’s concerns and emotional state. Our multidisciplinary approach to care, that utilizes interdisciplinary breast conferences to review individual cancer cases—is a proven method of finding better outcomes in modern medicine. Our physicians, nurses and clinicians specialize in the early detection, diagnosis and treatment of breast cancer, drawing on years of experience that has focused on patients just like you.

When you aren’t with your navigator, advice and encouragement is only a phone call away.
