Therapy starts
nearly directly after your surgery. Your mornings will be spent in Good
Samaritan's therapy department where you will receive individual physical
therapy sessions. In the afternoons, you will join the others in your group for
therapy sessions in the day room on three north.
Upon your dismissal, you
will be given specific instructions for continuing therapy at home. Should you
need additional professional physical therapy, all arrangements will be made
prior to your dismissal. In the event of your need for additional therapy, a
home health professional will be arranged to visit you in your home to continue
your rehabilitation.
Everyone heals differently and in varied amounts of
time, however you should be able to resume an active life in four to six
weeks.
