The Transitional Care Unit at Good Samaritan Hospital provides rehabilitation services for individuals who do not need or are unable to tolerate the intensive therapy approach provided on the Inpatient Rehabilitation unit.
Therapy services that are available include physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy. The program provides services to individuals who may be recovering from a medical illness or surgical procedure.
Team The team consists of the patient's physician, social worker, therapists, dietitian, chaplain, nursing and any other additional specialists needed.
Location The Transitional Care Unit is located on the Third Floor of Good Samaritan Hospital, offering the patient convenience and full access to the numerous physician specialties prepared to treat many types of physical injuries and disorders.
