Arterial Ultrasound

Using ultrasound, this test produces an image of the arteries in the legs or arms.  These arteries supply blood to the limbs and extremities.  This test looks at the rate of blood flow and is used to detect hardening and narrowing disease of the arteries as well as any plaque that may be present.

• Preparation: Wear comfortable clothes that are easy to get on and off the area being examined
• Test Duration: This test will take about 45 minutes
