Inpatient Services

At Richard H. Young Hospital, our highly trained staff works closely with patients, families and professional caregivers to determine a customized treatment program. We offer specialized programs for adolescents and adults. Each group has its own designated unit in the hospital, catering to the unique needs of the individual.

Adult Unit
Inpatient care provides for a secure environment that is also comforting.  Richard H. Young Hospital offers a broad range of services to treat psychiatric disorders in an optimum therapeutic environment.  We endeavor to help the patient, their families and caregivers work together to reach new, life-changing solutions. Recognizing that no two people are alike, patients benefit from our recovery team effort and consumer-centered care of adult males and females ages eighteen and up.

Adolescent Unit
Young people often struggle to cope with personal, family, and social problems.  They require special attention and education to help them over come self-destructive patterns that keep them from growing up to be their personal best.  It is at times like these that the professionally trained staff at Richard H. Young Hospital is prepared to help families work together to reach new, life-changing solutions for their adolescents.  Patients benefit from a treatment program designed specifically to meet the unique needs of adolescent males and females ages 14-18.
